Young Abdul Sattar's heart was scarred, he thought that there are three types of people in the society who watch the spectacle of those who kill others and help the injured. Young Abdul Sattar He decided to join the helpers and then left the clothing business, bought an ambulance, wrote his name on it, wrote down the telephone number and started helping the injured and sick in Karachi. He was also the driver of his company, the office boy, the telephone operator, the sweeper, and the owner of the telephone. Abdul Sattar placed an iron grain in front of the center. People used to put their surplus savings in it as they passed by. Hundreds of coins and a few notes were the total assets of this institution.

They went daily to the mosque to offer Fajr Prayers. A newborn baby was left. Maulvi Sahib declared the baby illegitimate and announced to kill it. People were taking the baby to be killed. They picked up the stone and stood in front of them. There is a senior officer in the bank. They also used to go to pick up the bodies. It was found out that the body was lying in the sewer. He put on the shroud, read the funeral and dug the grave with his own hands and buried the body. I saw stray children sleeping on the sidewalks with dogs. I made an old people's home. I made a madhouse. I made a children's home. Keep helping them and keep moving forward until the Edhi Foundation became the largest welfare organization in the country. Abdul Sattar Edhi is not in this world today but the welfare agencies he has set up are engaged in the service of suffering humanity.

Welfare Train for Kashmiri People:

India's atrocities continue in occupied Kashmir. On June 5, Indian troops martyred three Kashmiri youths in Lolab area Kupwara district during their latest state terror operation in occupied Kashmir. On June 24, Kashmiris celebrated Kashmir Day. He chanted slogans in favor of Pakistan and independence. Yasin Malik was detained and Friday prayers were stopped. Occupying forces martyred seven Kashmiri people in Dhobi Van, Kharhama, Dargmula and Wooderbala areas of Kupwara district during the so-called search operation. Protesters in Srinagar chanted slogans against Indian aggression. Protests against desecration of mosques. Ali Gilani says taking mosques under government control will have serious consequences. The army martyred 11 Kashmiris in different areas. On July 10, the Indian Army went on a full-scale strike in Occupied Kashmir on the call of Hurriyat Conference. Severe stoneworm. Dozens of vehicles, offices, police posts and BJP offices were set on fire. Protesters chanted slogans in favor of independence. On July 11, the Indian Army martyred four more Kashmiris. Expressing concern over the martyrdom of Kashmiris, the Foreign Secretary said that the relentless use of force against innocent civilians is reprehensible. Atrocities are not acceptable in any case.
Even before this, several high commissioners and diplomats of India were called and protests against Indian atrocities were recorded in occupied Kashmir. Weak protests do not have any effect on India. He does not understand Security Council resolutions. What is the significance of this weak protest? Pakistan has strongly condemned the aggression of Indian forces in occupied Kashmir and demanded that the Indian government abide by the UN Security Council resolutions. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in a statement expressed concern over the atrocities committed by Indian troops in occupied Kashmir They cannot be deprived of the right to self-determination. Expressing deep sorrow over the martyrdom of Commander Burhan Wani and other Kashmiris, he said that illegal use of force against civilians was regrettable. According to UN resolutions, Kashmiris have the right to self-determination. The government must fulfill its human rights obligations and its commitments in accordance with Security Council resolutions. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's statement against Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir reflects the facts. Instead of asking India to abide by the resolutions of the Security Council, they should have invited the international community to come and see how India is violating UN resolutions in occupied Kashmir and how it is violating human rights in Kashmir. A statement issued by Foreign Office Spokesperson Nafees Zakaria said, The Indian government must abide by the resolutions of the Security Council and human rights. Pakistan is deeply concerned about the detention of the Kashmiri leadership. The Kashmir issue can be resolved by giving Kashmiris the right to self-determination.  Strongly condemning the massacre of Kashmiris in Occupied Kashmir, former President Asif Ali Zardari said that it was unfortunate that the Indian Army opened fire on the legitimate protest. The spirit of freedom cannot be crushed. The international community should put pressure on India to immediately stop the game of fire and blood in Kashmir. One of his Chief Ministers said that time has proved the policy of oppression and violence of Indian government in Kashmir to fail. Imran Khan has said that Nawaz Sharif harmed the Kashmir independence movement by befriending Modi. The businessman met Jundal but did not consider it appropriate to meet the leaders of the Hurriyat Conference, which strengthened Indian interests. I assure the people of Occupied Kashmir.

Death:

Abdul Sattar Edhi passed away on Friday, July 8, 2016. The entire nation mourns for him. He was born in 1928 in the village of Bantuwa in Gujarat, India. Most of the people in Bantu belonged to middle class families and their livelihood was business. There were four brothers and two sisters, but all fell in love with Allah except the youngest brother Aziz. Due to the training of his parents, he used to participate in social activities from his childhood, but he could not get a proper education. He used to say that he could not get education due to mischief. On the occasions of Ramadan and Eid, his mother and other Memon women would prepare small packets of food and drink and distribute them among the poor. He said that due to his mother's training, he often roamed the streets of Bantuwa and would help anyone with a disability.

The one who gives honor and humiliation belongs to Allah Almighty, but this honor and humiliation we get in return for our deeds. This is about 1986. At that time, the only official TV channel in Pakistan was PTV. PTV used to hold an awards ceremony every year. The last award ceremony on PTV was also held in 1986. Thousands of people were present in the Islamabad complex, big personalities were present at the event. Anwar Maqsood was the compere of the event. During the ceremony, Anwar Maqsood would invite various personalities, including ministers, on stage and the people sitting in the complex would applaud him on his arrival. The program was shown live. At the end of the program, Anwar Maqsood requested a person to come on stage, the announcement was to be made that everyone present there stood up and for about ten minutes the people present there stood and clapped in respect of that person. In the history of Pakistan, no other person has received such an honor up to that time and has not received it till today. That great personality was Mr. Abdul Sattar Edhi.

After Pakistan was formed, his father said that we should go to Pakistan for a better future and he persuaded many people in the community to do so. On September 6, 1947, Memon left for Pakistan with 4,000 members of the community, during which he had to live on dry bread for five days and reach the shores of Karachi via the Arabian Sea in boats. Was After living in Malir for some time, his father rented a small house in Chhapa Gali near Jodia Bazaar. In Methadar, he bought a piece of Rs. The name is just a house on Chhapa Gali from which his parents were buried. He has been fond of driving an ambulance since childhood because it does great things.

Abdul Sattar aidhi bought a small shop with his savings in 1951 and opened a small dispensary in the same shop with the help of a doctor who taught him the basics of medical aid. Edhi always adopted a simple lifestyle and slept on a bench in front of the dispensary so that he could get help immediately when needed. In 1957, a massive flu epidemic broke out in Karachi, to which Edhi reacted immediately. They set up tents on the outskirts of the city and provided free immunizations. The benefactors generously helped him. The donations were so large that they bought the entire building where the dispensary was located and opened a maternity center and a school to train nurses, and that was the beginning of the Edhi Foundation.

Edhi Foundation:

In the years that followed, the Edhi Foundation spread to other parts of Pakistan. After the flu epidemic, a businessman donated a large sum of money to Edhi, who bought an ambulance that he drove himself. The Edhi Foundation is not registered, but a two-page declaration was filed in a Hyderabad court in this regard, which was written in Gujarati and stated its intentions. The court issued a declaration. There are Edhi Centers in twelve major cities of the world. There are 375 centers in Pakistan alone. Sixteen hundred Edhi ambulances are working from Siachen to Nagar Parker. According to the 1997 Guinness Book of World Records, the Edhi Foundation's ambulance service is the largest welfare ambulance service in the world. The company employs 7,000 people. The Edhi Foundation has opened clinics, maternity homes, insane asylums, homes for the disabled, blood banks, orphanages, adoption centers for orphans, shelters and schools. The foundation also offers nursing and homework courses. One of the features of Edhi centers is that there is a baby carriage outside each Edhi center so that a woman who cannot take care of her child can leave her child here. The child is sheltered by the Edhi Foundation in its orphanage and receives a free education.

Edhi Ambulance:

Mr. Edhi used to transport patients from home to hospital and from hospital to hospital by ambulance. The Red Cross and San Juan also went and became their live members. During this time the institution was also receiving money and its distribution among the beneficiaries was also going on. People were also collecting animal skins on the sacrifice. 35, 35 thousand skins were collected. Fitra was also being given during Ramadan, so the service to humanity increased day by day. Abdul Sattar Edhi received many awards, including the Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Award worth Rs. 1 million. All the awards are worth about Rs 32 crore.
