Abdul Qadeer Khan was born 1 April 1936. He is also called as A Q Khan.He was a first Pakistani nuclear and metallurgical engineer. who known as the father of Pakistan atomic weapons.who migrated to Pakistan in 1952. AQ Khan was educated in the metallurgical engineering departments of Western European where he pioneered studies in phase transitions of metallic alloys, uranium metallurgy.After study of Indias Smiling Buddha. After Nuclear test in 1974 Abdul Qadeer Khan joined his nations to develop atomic weapons. He is the  founder and creater of the (KRL) Khan Research Laboratories in 1976 and was both its chief scientist and director for many years.AQ Khan was accused for selling nuclear secrets illegally. He was put under house in 2004. when he claimed to the charges that he do this and was forgive by then President of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf.whose declared his debriefing and freed him on 6 February 2009.

Education and Early Life:

AQ Khan was born on 1 April 1936 in Bhopal a city of india. His family is of Pashtun. His fatherneme was Abdul Ghafoor and he was a school teacher. who worked for the Ministry of Education.His mother name was Zulekha. She  was a housewife with a very religious. His older brothers and sisters along with other family candidates had emigrated to Pakistan during the partition of India in 1947. who would usually write to Khans parents about the new life they had found in Pakistan.After his matric from a local school of Bhopal, in 1952. Then AQ Khan emigrated from India to Pakistan. Religious violence in India during his youth had left an  impression on his view. Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan attended the D. J. Science College before transferring to Karachi University. where he graduated in 1956 with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in physics with a concentrate on solid state physics.From 1956 to 1959 Dr AQ Khan was employed by the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation as Inspector of weights and measures.In 1961 Khan departed for West Germany to study material science at the Technical University in West Berlin. where he academically excell in courses in metallurgy.

Illnes and Death:

August 2021 Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan was admitted to Khan Research Laboratories Hospital after testing positive report of  Corona Virus. Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan died on 10 October 2021. He was died in  the age of 85. Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan suffered from lung problems. He was given a state funeral at the Faisal Mosque before buried in Islamabad at the H8 graveyard.
Imran Khan the Prime Minister of Pakistan expressed grief on  his death in a tweet adding that for the people of Pakistan he was a national icon. President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi also expressed sadness adding that a grateful nation will never forget his services.
